Integrated Management System

ICON Project Management Group recognises the importance of having satisfied customers and maintaining our position as both a recognised and respected name in project management.
Our Integrated Management System (IMS) is designed to continually improve the quality of our service and demonstrate business excellence. To consistently deliver a quality service that guarantees customer satisfaction, we will: -

  • Strive to complete projects on time, on budget and in accordance with clients requirements;
  • Comply with all relevant legislation and regulations and other requirements that are placed on us, or to which we subscribe;
  • Ensure our workforce understand our Integrated Management System policies, objectives and procedures and their roles, responsibilities and authorities;
  • Monitor, measure and analyse to determine conformity with project processes and undertake a management review to promote improvement initiatives;
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure mutual understandings;
  • Maintain a Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008;
  • Where the customer has a preference to adopt their own Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008, ICON Project Management Group shall concur.

The IMS has been developed according to the requirements of: - 

  • AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management Systems);
  • AS/NZS ISO 14001: 2004 (Environmental Management Systems);
  • AS/NZS 4801: 2001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems;
  • PMBOK Project Management Body of Knowledge

The Manual includes our policies, the scope and requirements of the IMS, roles and responsibilities for the implementation and maintenance of the IMS, an explanation and reference to our management system procedures and a description of the interaction between the processes of our IMS.

Each of these documents supports the Project Management Plan which is specific to each project and ensures the highest levels of quality, safety and environmental awareness.

Environmental

ICON Project Management Group aims to conduct its business in a way that protects the environment through efficiently utilising resources and continually improving control over activities that may lead to pollution or environmental damage.

To protect and improve the state of the environment in which we operate, we will: -

  • Comply with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations, and other requirements that are placed on us or to which we voluntary subscribe;
  • Develop, implement and maintain procedures for environmental impact identification, assessment and control, covering all of our activities and of those who we may influence;
  • Establish and pursue environmental objectives and targets that focus on pollution prevention, mitigation of adverse environmental impacts and improved environmental conditions;
  • Maintain an Environmental Management System in accordance with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004;
  • Where the customer has a preference to adopt their own Environmental Management System in accordance with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004, ICON Project Management Group shall concur.

Health and Safety

ICON Project Management Group believes that occupational health and safety is vital for the overall efficiency and success of our business, is committed to ensuring that employees and others are safe in the workplace.

To maintain a safe and healthy workplace for all those associated with the company, we will: -

  • Comply with all relevant OH&S legislation and regulations, and other requirements that are placed on us or to which we subscribe;
  • Establish and achieve health and safety objectives and targets that focus on improving management performance by eliminating or minimising risks of workplace injury and illness;
  • Develop, implement and maintain procedures for hazard identification, assessment and control covering all of our activities;
  • Ensure occupational rehabilitation for injured/ill employees without them being prejudiced or disadvantaged and to ensuring that effective return to work plans are developed and implemented.
  • Continually inspect, maintain and monitor plant and equipment to ensure safe working order;
  • Identify potential emergencies and accidents and establish procedures for their prevention and response;
  • Consult with our staff and engage with other stakeholders to reduce workplace risks and improve health conditions;
  • Maintain a Safety Management System in accordance with the requirements of AS/NZS 4801:2001;
  • Where the customer has a preference to adopt their own Safety Management System in accordance with the requirements of AS/NZS 4801:2001, ICON Project Management Group shall concur.
